Music in the Mornings¶

I’m not a very musical guy. At least, I don’t think I am.

Growing up, I didn’t own many cds, I never used my mp3 player, and I didn’t learn an instrument. I was often the odd-man-out when my friends shared music with each other.

But now I find music a part of every morning. It usually goes something like this:

1. I wake up and make Shannon breakfast before she goes off to work. As I clean up, I play the “Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir” channel on Pandora.
2. I then shift gears and get ready to exercise. This involves playing the Celtic Channel on Pandora.
3. Then I shower and if I shave, it’s usually with the Dave Brubeck channel in the background.
4. Then I journal or read for a bit and sometimes sing a few hymns to myself.

Who knew I had musical tastes?
